Big Red the Monster Fire Truck
Owned by   Monster Truck Rides USA

This is a 1937 monster fire truck, built by Monster Truck Rides USA, now known as
"BIG RED THE MONSTER FIRE TRUCK". The truck is a 100% operational fire aparatus with 350 gallons of on board water. Big Red was originally in service with the Danville, Ky. Fire Dept. Measuring an astonishing 38 ft in length, 12 ft 4 in wide and 11 ft 9 and 1/2 inches tall, this "Big Red Monster" weighs in at 35,000 lbs. Unlike most other retired fire engines however, this one was turned into a monster truck powered by
Monster Truck Rides USA's sponsor, Cummins Diesel Engines.

This monster has already broken and will break many more world records, including our upcoming drive to benefit the Children's Miracle Network, where we will start on the East Coast and travel across the USA to to the West Coast as a Monster Fire Truck on terra tires! Over 4,000  miles with dozens of live TV coverage's, stops at children's hospitals, and several talk show appearances. Big Red will be equipped with 3 on board web cams, where at any time you can check on our progress live!

As the team starts their journey please contact
www.MonsterTruckRidesUSA.com for info on how to donate to the children's network.

There is a nice article at
www.liberty-1motorsports.com about the truck and some very good hi-resolution images there.
